John Jamali - Final Dying Moment
New Film score uploaded, check my archives for older work. This piece attempts to capture the final moments before the main character dies. His loved ones are gathered around mourning and remembering all his goodness. Although sad, in the end they come to terms with the death. Light shines on the dead heroic character, signaling he has gone to a better place and that there is still hope in the future. Well, I hope that’s what the final c chord instills in you all, a little bit of hope and solace, ahahaha.
As usual, I recorded each layer live and did it in one hit. I tried to mix it down and move segments around in an attempt to extend the piece but I noticed it just made the music sound even more out of time when I started to get the mouse involved. For example, the final chord which was really important to the overall meaning of the scene did not have the same effect when I extended the piece. This is because it did not fit in with the rest of the layers once I extended the track with the mouse. So, I decided to keep it the same as it was originally recorded.
